Palestinian Homes Destroyed – By Palestinians

February 11, 2013

Members of the Abu Amrah family in Gaza City demonstrated Tuesday in front of offices of the Palestinian Legislative Council protesting a decision by the Hamas-run government to demolish 75 houses belonging to the family in the al-Rimal neighborhood.

The government says it decided to demolish the houses because they were illegally built on public lands.

My Two Cents

Calling all human rights activists! Palestinian homes are being demolished!

Oh wait, never mind – the demolitions are going to be carried out by Hamas in Gaza. No need to issue any condemnations here.

Update: This post explains why Hamas chose to destroy these homes in particular – apparently, the Abu Amrah clan is affiliated with Fatah. Enough said.

One Response to Palestinian Homes Destroyed – By Palestinians

Since when do Human Rights Org. care what Arabs, Muslims or Africans do to each other. This has been going on for thousands of years. it’s only when (Israelis (Jews) do it to protect themselves do thy howl like wolves. The death toll in Syria acordiding to the UN as of today is reaching 70,000. This is what they are admitting to. i’m sure that amount is far greater.
